Moon Bay began with a family who enjoys the freedom of travelling. In Taipu de Fora, their way of welcoming guests took shape in bungalows with kitchens, verandas and room to rest.
We share recommendations, help you plan your arrival and respect your space. The itinerary and the pace are yours.

LIFE IN THE BUNGALOW
Come back from the beach, open the windows and decide what to do next. Here, the kitchen and veranda are part of the trip.
Make breakfast or a meal with the ingredients you enjoy. An equipped kitchen gives you more control over your schedule and budget.
A hammock, some shade and a view of the garden invite you to stay a little longer. After exploring Península de Maraú, there is room to leave the day unplanned.
The bungalow is your group’s space. The team helps with arrival, questions and recommendations while respecting your independence.

TAIPU DE FORA
Piscina Natural do Gringo is a place to visit in Taipu de Fora. At low tide, the reefs reveal clear-water pools where you can observe the sea and enjoy a different pace.
Check the tide table and ask the team for guidance for the day you visit.
PENÍNSULA DE MARAÚ
Ponta do Mutá, in Barra Grande, and Farol de Taipu are among the sunset suggestions in our guide. Choose one and leave time for the journey.
Places our hosts suggest for a meal. Check opening hours before you set off.
Our hosts suggest the moqueca and mel de cacau.
A place to start the day with breakfast or finish it with dinner. It also has a gym, beach tennis courts and a pool lane for swimming workouts.

Os arredores e a rua em que a propriedade se encontra também foram um dos pontos altos, além de ser um lugar extremamente simpático e de ótima vizinhança! E um lugar maravilhoso para poder surfar e sentir a natureza da melhor forma!

Enviou todas as informações necessárias com antecedência, nos respondia prontamente, deu dicas e ofereceu auxílio com reserva de passeios na região. Ele e sua família foram muito simpáticos. O espaço é exatamente igual as fotos. Tem um bom tamanho, cama confortável, todos os utensílios necessários em uma cozinha e uma varanda com rede e mesa com cadeiras para descanso e refeições.
Não possui microondas, mas tem forninho elétrico, fogão e sanduicheira, o que para nós, foi perfeito.
Estava limpo e organizado. Checkin super fácil e muito perto da praia.

Excelente experiência! Minha primeira vez em Maraú e me surpreendi muito com a estrutura do local! Espaço amplo, decoração linda e extremamente limpo. Tinha tudo o que precisava e mais um pouco: escrivaninha, espaço para cozinhar com utensílios muito úteis e geladeira. Uma rede do lado de fora além de um cheiro muito gostoso no quarto. Leandro e sua companheira foram muito receptivos e amáveis. Apresentaram um book com todas as instruções necessárias e dicas locais! Incrível! Super indico e recomendo esse espaço! Moon Bay is in Taipu de Fora, in the municipality of Maraú, Bahia, 50 metres from the beach. Barra Grande is another village in Península de Maraú and can be part of your outings.

Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out is by 11 am. Entry is independent; the team sends arrival instructions. Confirm any adjustments when booking.
Bangalô Standard accommodates up to 3 guests and Bangalô Família up to 4. Ask the team about sleeping arrangements for your group before choosing.
Yes. Each bungalow has one covered parking space.
Pets are welcome with the team’s approval. Please contact Moon Bay before booking.
You can prepare breakfast in the equipped kitchen. Booking with breakfast is also an option; confirm prices and conditions with the team.
Payment methods and conditions depend on your direct agreement with the team or the options offered by your chosen platform.
Ask the team when booking, or check the cancellation policy on the platform where you book.
The garden and deck are shared areas. Each group occupies its chosen bungalow, with its kitchen and veranda.
